This could be anything from 6 months to 2 years and these would include checking their track record against their live trading statements and then watching them trade live to see if it matches the trading strategy that we have seen on their statements. These days we prefer to work only with fully regulated trade teams that also have a professionally audited set of accounts from reputable, well-known global accountancy firm, which we verify directly with the firm before moving any further forward.
We will also do our own forward testing with our own company money on a real account to be 100% sure that the risk mgt is as they have stated. Therefore we feel we offer a very unique and much needed service, especially as forex has got a bad name recently because of unethical companies trying to make a fast buck!
